WE ARE OPEN...SEE YOU SOON!
Working hard to provide aid, love and a safe spot to recover in to our Community after the Butte County Camp Fire ravaged our Community, just to be followed by Covid, then the Bear Fire. We are rebuilding the Lake Concow Campground, as well, which was a total loss. The property will soon offer a Community Tool Lending Library, a food pantry location for other organizations to use for giveaways and a children's playground, all free to community, all being built by From the Ground Up Farms and funded by North Valley Community Foundation. We are here for you Highway 70 Corridor Communities.
The Konkow Partners are a group of healers, artists, activists and friends dedicated to preserving this sacred land and sharing it as they bring vital experiences to our community, and to raising awareness of local service organizations and community needs.
We hold an annual event that is a fundraiser for a variety of local service organizations with all proceeds being donated to local groups and programs. Some past recipients include Yankee Hill Fire Safety Council, Torres Shelter, KZFR, From the Ground Up Farms and local fire stations. We also share our yard with special events like the Buckeye Gathering, Weaving Wisdom Women's Gathering, SCA (Society of Creative Anachronism), Survival Training School of California, Scout Groups and a variety of workshops and community opportunities.
